Our mission at the Camden Library, in partnership with our other district locations, is to provide current information and entertainment to the people of this community by providing books, movies, and free Internet access computers.

The mission of the Brooke-Gould Memorial Library is to provide the people of our community with the broadest possible access to books and other materials and technology to meet their informational, educational, cultural, and leisure needs. We also provide our patrons with information about our community, such as current events, important issues, local organizations, and community services.

The mission of the Floyd R. White Memorial Library is to provide the community with materials and information for their life-long learning and enjoyment. We promote the discovery of the library through children’s and adult programming. We also provide Internet access to our patrons in order for them to receive the most current information possible.
Preble County Room - Genealogy

The mission of the Preble County Room is to provide genealogical and historical resources and various related services to our patrons. We connect the present to the past through the use of books and other media of genealogical and historical interest. The collection includes information about Preble County, its contiguous counties and those areas of migration to and from this area as space and finances permit.
New Paris Library

The vision of the New Paris Library is to be valued and recognized, by people of all ages and diverse backgrounds, as their doorway to reading, information and technology. The mission of the New Paris Library is to facilitate lifelong learning; to stimulate and nurture a desire to read in young people; to provide reading materials to meet the interests of all ages; and to enrich the quality of life in the community of New Paris, Jefferson Township, and Preble County.

The mission of the Preble County District Library Administration Office is to provide a framework of centralized support for library branches and departments and its staff. The Office also provides centralized fiscal services.

The mission of the West Alexandria Library is to provide the community with material and resources needed to enrich their lives with knowledge and entertainment through a variety of formats and to provide information concerning local organizations and services.
